Music Industry Predictions for 2023

2023 is here and a major question is, what's in store for the music industry this year?

This article from the CD Baby DIY Music Blog has some excellent predictions. With technology advancing there's a lot to speculate on from the world of NFTs, to the Metaverse and more. While it's important to look forward, they also do a great roundup of what we saw go down in 2022.

One standout prediction that we couldn't ignore is the idea that there will most likely be an "AI Reckoning" in the music industry when it comes to generative music. We shared some of our own thoughts on that topic last week, which you can check that out here.
