Grammys OK AI use in music, but ban fully AI-Generated songs

After all the discussions surrounding AI, the Recording Academy, responsible for the Grammy Awards, has introduced new eligibility requirements to accommodate the growing influence of AI in the music world. Under the new rules, songs that utilize AI can be submitted for consideration as long as there is a significant human contribution to the work. However, fully AI-generated songs are not eligible for any awards.

These adjustments reflect the increasing presence of generative AI in music while maintaining recognition for human creators in the Grammy Awards.
